Section Engineer / Sub Agent – Elgin

Start: Start of July 2026
Duration: 3 months (potential extension – plenty of upcoming work)
Hours: 07:30–17:00, Monday–Friday

We’re supporting a civil engineering contractor who are looking for a Section Engineer / Sub Agent to join their team on a bridge repair project in Elgin. This is a great opportunity for someone with structures experience who enjoys hands‑on engineering and being part of a focused, technical team.


What You’ll Be Doing

• Overseeing day‑to‑day delivery on a live bridge repair

• Setting out, QA and ensuring works meet spec

• Managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities

• Ensuring safety, quality and programme targets are achieved

• Supporting the Site Agent with planning, reporting and documentation

• Working closely with the structures team on repairs, concrete works and temporary works
