A top tier 1 contractor seeks a Site Engineer for its expanding Energy division in Scotland—now is the perfect time to join renewable energy projects in a Civils-focused environment.
The Role
Join the Energy team to assist in delivering renewable energy projects throughout Scotland, leveraging Civils experience in reinforced concrete structures, bridges, large-scale earthworks, underground services/drainage, and road construction. Oversee all on-site engineering aspects for assigned projects, reporting to the Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Ideal Candidate
Competent in site setting out, engineering, and surveying with various equipment; proficient in Microsoft Office (AutoCAD knowledge preferred, training available). Hold SMSTS 5-day certification (preferred, training available), excellent communication skills, and experience creating WPPs, TBs, Permits to Dig, and ITPs. Work independently or in teams, build stakeholder relationships, and be flexible for weekends, shifts, and travel.
Essentials and Flexibility
Valid CSCS card, full driving licence, First Aid certification, CAT & Genny training, and civil engineering degree or HNC/HND required. Open to candidates with access, compounds, or general Civils experience—they can cross over into renewables with training.
