A top tier 1 contractor offers an exciting General Foreperson role in its expanding Energy division in Scotland—now is the ideal time to join renewable energy projects in a Civils environment.
The Role
Join the Energy team to support delivery of renewable energy projects across Scotland, drawing on Civils experience in reinforced concrete structures, bridges, large-scale earthworks, underground services/drainage, and road construction. Oversee all site management aspects, reporting to the Contracts Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Ideal Candidate
Civils industry experience, especially infrastructure and community-facing projects; strong commercial awareness, programme delivery, and team management track record. NRSWA/TWS certifications preferred; excellent communication, interpersonal skills, PC proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), and ability to handle pressure, deadlines, weekends, shifts, and travel while maintaining confidentiality.
Essentials and Flexibility
SMSTS certification, Civils experience, valid CSCS card, ability to read technical drawings, and full First Aid required. Flexible for candidates with access, compounds, or general Civils backgrounds—they can transition into renewables with training.
