Job Description

Contract Scotland are working on behalf of a respected civil engineering and construction business to source a Site Engineer for a 6-month freelance assignment, covering two active construction sites in the Fife area.

Project Overview:

• Site 1: Enabling works and infrastructure, including piling platform preparation.

• Site 2: Steel frame construction and associated concrete works on a design & build scheme.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the setting out across both projects, which will require a high level of accuracy and independence. The role involves working closely with the site management teams to ensure work is delivered to specification and on programme.

Key Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in setting out for civil and structural works.

• Proficiency using a Leica TS16 or equivalent total station.

• Valid CSCS card.

• Able to work across two sites within reasonable travel distance.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.

Site Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 17:00

• Friday: 07:00 – 16:00

• Optional Saturday work may be available.
