Contract Scotland are working on behalf of a leading joint venture within the water infrastructure sector to source an experienced Project Manager for a temporary role based in Glasgow. This 6-month opportunity, starting in September, is ideal for a proactive and organised individual with a strong engineering background and a proven ability to manage complex infrastructure projects through all phases.
Develop and manage Tender, Design, and Construction Programmes across the project lifecycle.
Review contracts and specifications, including validation of drawings, technical documentation, and activity schedules.
Support procurement activities for subcontracts and materials, including the preparation of detailed estimates and quotations.
Oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) matters, ensuring compliance and the preparation and management of Construction Phase Health and Project Quality Plans.
Act as Principal Contractor under CDM Regulations when required.
Proven track record in Project Management, ideally from an engineering or supervisory background.
Strong understanding of project planning, specification, design, procurement, and commissioning.
Technical knowledge of materials and equipment relevant to Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering.
Practical experience working with NEC4 contracts.
Familiarity with QA and H&S procedures.
Full UK driving licence.
