Job Opportunity: Freelance Quantity Surveyor

 About the Client
Our client is a leading civil engineering contractor, highly regarded for its expertise in delivering complex projects across roads, groundworks, and infrastructure frameworks. As they continue to grow their commercial team in Scotland, they are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Aberdeen. Applications are encouraged from Quantity Surveyors at all levels, particularly those with a background in groundwork and infrastructure projects.

 Role Overview

• Position: Quantity Surveyor
• Location: Aberdeen
• Sector: Civil Engineering
• Contract: Long-term ongoing freelance engagement
• Start Date: Immediate
• Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience

 Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from tender stage through to final account
• Prepare and maintain accurate cost forecasts
• Undertake commercial reporting and cost analysis
• Provide commercial support to operational and internal teams

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the civil engineering sector
• Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant commercial discipline
• Strong knowledge of various forms of construction contracts
• Full UK driving Licence
