Design Management Engineer – Glasgow

We’re looking for a Design Management Engineer to join an established civil engineering business at their Head Office in Glasgow. Working as part of a dedicated pre-construction team, you’ll be at the forefront of design and build tenders, ensuring that innovative, cost-effective, and practical engineering solutions are developed and delivered.

The Role:

• Manage and coordinate the design process for complex civil engineering projects.

• Work closely with consulting engineers, Public Utilities, Local Authorities, and statutory bodies.

• Ensure compliance with technical, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

• Provide input that directly impacts project success and overall company performance.

• Split time between office-based design coordination and site visits as required.

About You:

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (BEng or MEng).

• Strong technical knowledge with a practical approach to problem-solving.

• Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Keen to influence projects from an early stage and contribute to business success.
