We are working in partnership with one of Scotland’s leading Tier 1 contractors to recruit a Site Manager to play a key role in their delivery team for a major, high-profile development in Edinburgh.

About the Contractor:

This is a highly reputable main contractor with a long-standing presence across Scotland and the wider UK. Known for delivering large-scale commercial, residential, and public-sector projects to the highest standards, they’re now seeking to strengthen their team with a Site Manager who can drive excellence on site and uphold their strong reputation.

The Role:

As Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the reinforced concrete frame package and associated groundworks on this complex and architecturally significant project. Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality site operations from inception through to superstructure handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day site management of RC frame and associated civil packages

• Coordinating sub-contractors and site logistics

• Monitoring programme performance and reporting progress

• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

• Collaborating with engineering, commercial, and design teams

• Managing site documentation and quality assurance records

Requirements:

• Strong civil engineering background, ideally degree or HNC/HND qualified

• Demonstrable experience managing RC frame packages on major building projects

• SMSTS, CSCS (Black or White card), and First Aid certified

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Experience working with Tier 1 or large regional contractors preferred

• Based in or willing to travel to Edinburgh / East of Scotland
