Are you a skilled Estimator with a background in civil engineering? One of Scotland's most well established construction firms, renowned for delivering high-quality projects across multiple sectors is looking to expand their team. 

They seek an experienced Estimator to support a strong pipeline of work in highways, earthworks, drainage, utilities, and groundworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for a wide range of civil engineering projects.

• Interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents to carry out cost analysis and take-offs.

• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and supply chain partners to produce competitive tender submissions.

• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.

• Identify and assess project risks, opportunities, and value engineering alternatives.

• Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings where necessary.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in estimating within civil engineering

• Solid understanding of UK civil engineering construction methods and supply chain.

• Familiarity with estimating software such as Conquest, Causeway, or similar platforms.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
