Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge? We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading main contractor delivering high-profile public and commercial building projects across the West of Scotland.

The Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful financial management of construction projects, from procurement through to final account settlement. Working closely with the commercial and site teams, you will provide cost control, risk management, and value engineering to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Managing costs across multiple projects, ensuring budgets are maintained
✅ Preparing and reviewing tender documentation, valuations, and final accounts
✅ Subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and management
✅ Identifying and mitigating commercial risks
✅ Preparing cost reports and forecasts for senior management
✅ Ensuring compliance with contracts and relevant legislation

What We’re Looking For:

�� Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry (main contractor experience preferred)
�� Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
�� Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
�� Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
�� Full UK driving licence (travel to sites across the West of Scotland required)
