Job Description

A specialist contractor operating in the construction and fit-out sector with a strong focus on delivering high-quality projects across commercial, retail, healthcare, and education is seeking an experienced Site Manager.

Overseeing small to medium-scale projects up to £5 million, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing site activities safely, to a high standard, and in line with project budgets and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial:

• Manage subcontractor packages, ensuring clarity on the scope of works and contractual obligations.
• Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, design teams, and project managers.
• Monitor and uphold quality standards on-site, raising Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as necessary.
• Ensure that subcontractors provide and adhere to Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Compile and manage snagging lists, ensuring all items are closed out to a high standard.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and CDM regulations.

About You:

We are looking for a proactive and quality-focused Site Manager who can operate effectively within a team environment. You will have experience in managing and coordinating subcontractors, coupled with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid CSCS/CSR card.
• SMSTS qualified.
• Proven experience in managing fit-out/refurbishment projects
