Job Description

A leading main building contractor is looking to add a Contracts Manager to their west of Scotland operation. As a Contracts Manager, you will be at the forefront of steering complex, often high-value construction projects to success.

About you

You are a dynamic individual who can confidently navigate the intricacies of contract management, fostering robust relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members alike.

In this crucial position, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your strategic approach to problem-solving and your ability to lead with conviction will be instrumental in driving project teams towards achieving collective goals.

About the role

- Manage and negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers.

- Oversee project progress, ensuring compliance with legal, safety, and quality standards.

- Coordinate with various departments to facilitate seamless operations.

- Lead, mentor, and inspire project teams to deliver exceptional results.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Proven track record in contract management within the construction industry. Preferably with a large main contractor. 

- Strong commercial acumen and adept at financial reporting.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Adept at risk management and decision-making.
