Are you looking for high-visibility role within a global energy trading business, sitting directly in the CIO office?

This is not a traditional procurement position — it’s a commercially focused role with real ownership, influence, and exposure at senior level.

You’ll take full control of technology spend (software, IT services, market data) and play a key role in driving cost optimisation, vendor strategy, and procurement transformation across a fast-paced global environment.

What You’ll Do

Own end-to-end IT procurement across software, services, and market data
Lead vendor and commercial negotiations, managing key supplier relationships
Optimise technology spend, ensuring value, compliance, and scalability
Manage software & market data licensing, including renewals and usage optimisation
Partner with IT, Finance, and business leadership to support strategic decisions
Drive reporting and spend insights, improving financial visibility and control
Champion transformation, introducing automation, data, and AI-driven processes
Promote a more strategic procurement culture across a fast-moving trading business

What We’re Looking For

Experience in IT procurement, commercial management, or technology finance (3+years)
Exposure to software licensing and/or market data (highly advantageous)
Strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills
Ability to work with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Interest in process improvement, automation, and data-driven decision-making
Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on level
