Coba Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and forward‑thinking primary school in Northampton to recruit a Year 2 Class Teacher with Middle Leadership responsibility for a permanent role starting in September.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious practitioner ready to take the next step into leadership within a supportive and collaborative school environment.

The Role

• Full class responsibility for a Year 2 class
• Taking on a middle leadership role (such as Phase Lead or subject leadership – details dependent on experience)
• Supporting the development of teaching and learning across KS1
• Contributing to curriculum development and raising standards
• Working closely with senior leaders and colleagues to drive school improvement

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 2 experience desirable)
• Either has existing middle leadership experience or is ready to step into a leadership role
• Demonstrates strong classroom practice and effective behaviour management
• Is enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to improving outcomes for pupils
