Coba Education is currently recruiting for a committed and experienced Teaching Assistant with BSL (British Sign Language) to join our inclusive and supportive team full time at a further education college in Kettering.

Role Details:

• Start Date: September

• Location: Kettering

• Working Pattern: Full Time
  
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-class BSL interpretation and communication support to learners who are deaf or hearing-impaired

• Support the teaching staff in delivering inclusive, accessible lessons

• Adapt and differentiate learning materials for students who use BSL

• Offer 1:1 or small group support as needed

• Collaborate closely with SENCOs, tutors, and other support staff

• Contribute to the development of an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Background working with secondary-aged students or older

• Strong communication and behaviour management skills

• A calm, empathetic, and consistent approach

• Proficiency in British Sign Language (BSL)
