About the Role:

You will play a key part in the day-to-day warehouse operation, focusing on accurate stock handling, order picking, and packing to meet customer and business demands. Working closely with the warehouse team, you will ensure goods are stored, processed, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently in line with daily targets
• Carry out stock control and inventory checks, ensuring correct stock rotation and location accuracy
• Use the warehouse management system (WMS) to scan, record, and update stock movements
• Load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse using safe manual handling techniques
• Conduct basic quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods to identify damage or discrepancies
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment, following all health and safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to meet daily operational deadlines
• Follow written and verbal instructions to complete tasks within set timeframes

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment
• Proven ability in stock control and inventory handling
• Experience in accurate order picking and packing within a target-driven setting
• Confident using basic warehouse management systems or handheld scanners
• Good understanding of manual handling and safe lifting techniques
• Awareness of health and safety practices, including the correct use of PPE
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies
• Reliable timekeeping and ability to work to deadlines Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 17:00pm

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working with KPI or performance-driven warehouse operations
• Familiarity with different types of packaging materials and labelling requirements
• Previous experience in goods-in or goods-out processes
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
