Are you an experienced Civils Project Manager looking to take ownership of major civil engineering projects from inception through to completion?

We are seeking a motivated and driven individual to join a growing contractor delivering a diverse range of civil engineering works across the North East. This is an exciting opportunity to lead projects, manage site teams, and play a key role in the continued growth of a successful business.

The Role

As a Civils Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of one or more projects, overseeing operational, commercial, programme and health & safety performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Projects will include:

• Roads & Sewers
• Industrial Civils
• Building & Infrastructure Works
• Reinforced Concrete Structures
• Earthworks

Key Responsibilities

• Full project responsibility from planning through to completion
• Managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Monitoring commercial performance and project costs
• Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and quality
• Liaising with clients, consultants and key stakeholders
• Producing progress reports and project updates
• Identifying and managing project risks and opportunities

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience managing civil engineering projects
• Strong background in roads & sewers, RC works, earthworks and industrial civils
• Valid and in-date CSCS/CPCS Card
• SMSTS Qualification
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and project management capability
• Full UK Driving Licence
