Quantity Surveyor – Negotiable Rate (CIS)
Location: Teesside
Recruiter: Central Employment
Employment Type: CIS (Self-Employed)
Hours: 7.30am – 4.00pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am – 2.00pm Friday

About Our Client:
Our client is a reputable specialist contractor in cladding and façade solutions, delivering high-quality projects across the commercial construction sector. They pride themselves on innovation, safety, and excellence in project delivery.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s team. This role is pivotal in managing project finances, ensuring cost efficiency, and maintaining contractual compliance. You will work closely with project managers and site teams to deliver accurate financial reporting and support successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and valuations
• Manage procurement processes and negotiate subcontractor agreements
• Monitor project progress, costs, and variations
• Prepare and submit interim and final accounts
• Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and health & safety requirements
• Provide accurate financial reporting and forecasting to stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience:
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or cladding/façade projects
• Strong understanding of contracts (JCT/NEC) and cost control principles
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Proficiency in relevant software (MS Office, cost management tools)
• Ability to work independently under CIS arrangements

Rate of Pay: Negotiable depending on experience
