Central Employment Marketing & Digital division are delighted to be working with a global distribution organisation, a true industry leader in the sector and product range.  

They have a new and exciting opportunity for an eCommerce Manager, to join there Newcastle office and distribution centre, supporting there on-going UK eCommerce growth. 

Newcastle x 2-3 days a week
Report into the CCO 
Circa £50,000 DOE 

As an Ecommerce Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Website Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the website, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers.
  • Manage the website development pipeline in close collaboration with the operations team.
  • Build and execute the Amazon strategy to maximise our retail sales, market share and brand image through the platforms.
  • Manage & optimise the Platforms P&L
  • Sales Strategy: Actively support the implementation of strategies to support sales performance, improve conversion rates, and enhance customer engagement.
  • Digital Marketing: Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Execuitve to execute online campaigns.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor website & platform performance and analyse data to identify trends, customer behaviour, and areas for improvement. Complete reporting of performance metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Customer Experience: Implement a customer-first mindset to ensure high customer satisfaction through customer journey optimisation to deliver a best-in-class experience.
  • Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to inform decisions.
  • Managing Klaviyo flows, campaigns and integrations

 Requirements

This newly created role requires a self-starter who has a proven track record of creating and implementing strategies, with previous experience working with eCommerce channels within a B2C & Trade environment.

  • E-commerce operations: Familiarity with order fulfilment, inventory management, customer service, and other operational aspects of online retail.
  • Project management: Strong organisational and project management skills to oversee multiple campaigns and initiatives.
  • Analytical skills: Ability to analyse data from various sources to identify trends, measure performance, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Data-driven decision-making: Using data insights to optimise campaigns, allocate budgets effectively, and identify areas for growth.
  • Excellent understanding of Shopify
  • Basic web design experience – HTML, CSS
