Job Description

An established and award-winning manufacturer is looking to expand its Assembly Team at its Bedford site. The company has gained international recognition for its innovative designs and continues to grow across the UK, Europe, the USA, and India.

This role would suit someone with basic mechanical skills, good attention to detail, and a strong focus on producing quality work.

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday, 6am–2pm
  
  OR
  
  Monday to Thursday 2pm - 12am (with additional £3 per hour shift allowance)

• Saturday overtime available (paid at time and a half)

Pay:

• Starting from £13.00 per hour

• Rising to £14.00 an hour after 12 weeks. 
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Assemble components and products following specifications and quality standards

• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Perform quality checks on finished products

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area

• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve production targets

• Report any issues or defects to a supervisor promptly

• Follow all health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ assembly experience (required)

• Right to work in the UK
  
  
• An in date FLT licence (Reach/Counterbalance) would be advantageous but not essential.
