Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety‑focused Warehouse Operative to operate mechanical handling equipment, including Reach Trucks and Counterbalance forklifts. You will be responsible for storing, picking, and dispatching raw materials, packaging, and finished goods in line with customer and supplier requirements. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential to ensure all products meet the correct safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently load and unload vehicles
• Receive and record stock using the warehouse management system, reporting any issues promptly to the Line Manager or Team Leader
• Move stock throughout the warehouse as required
• Pick and prepare orders ready for dispatch
• Carry out regular stock counts
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
• Maintain high housekeeping standards

Essential Requirements

• Valid, in‑date Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklift licence
• Previous warehouse experience
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to changing demands

Benefits

• 40‑hour working week
• Weekly pay at £14.02 per hour
• Overtime available
• Full‑time position
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

License/Certification:

• Reach Truck/Counterbalance Licence (required)
