Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Officer
 
Location: Thirsk, YO7 
 
Shift - Mon to Fri
 
Pay rate - £13.50 - £15.00 (depending on experience)
 
Job Description:
 
We are seeking a Quality Control (QC) Officer to join our client on a fulltime basis. The QC Officer will be responsible for ensuring that products meet specified quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
- Conduct inspections and quality checks on products throughout the manufacturing process.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements.
- Document and report any quality issues to the production team and management.
- Collaborate with other departments to implement corrective actions and improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality assessments.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures.
 
Skills Required:
 
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using quality control tools and software.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to quality control.
 
Qualifications:
 
- Previous experience in a quality control role within a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Relevant certifications or training in quality assurance or control are advantageous.
