Production Operative – Full-Time, Temporary

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Salary: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour
Location: Thirsk, North Yorkshire

About the Role:
We’re seeking a reliable Production Operative to join our fast-paced manufacturing site in Thirsk. This is a temporary, full-time role with opportunities to work both day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mix, weigh, pack, and label finished goods
• Perform manual handling tasks (lifting up to 25kg)
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and workplace safety
• Ensure product quality and compliance with company procedures
• Keep work areas clean and follow good housekeeping practices

Essential Skills & Qualities:

• Ability to work full-time hours
• Must hold a valid driving licence
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow written instructions and SOPs
• Team-oriented and self-motivated
• Flexible and adaptable to changing job demands
• Strong awareness of health, safety, hygiene, and quality standards (HACCP, GMP, etc.)
