A well-established and innovative leader in the environmental, animal, and human health sectors is currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.. Shifts: Days Shift 6am-6pm Thursday to Sunday/Friday to Monday
Salary: Negotiable

The Role:

Working a day-shift pattern, the Maintenance Engineer will report to the Maintenance Manager and play a crucial role in supporting production by ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute planned, preventative, and corrective maintenance in line with internal systems.

• Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve equipment issues, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records of maintenance activities and breakdowns.

• Support process and quality teams with engineering expertise.

• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.

Candidate Profile – Essential:

• Recognised time-served qualification in engineering with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar maintenance role.

• Strong knowledge of pneumatic and electrical control systems.

• Hands-on experience with product transfer systems (e.g., elevators, drag-chain, auger feed).

• Skilled in fault finding and root cause analysis.

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently or collaboratively.

• Organised, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced production environment.

Desirable:

• Background in manufacturing or production environments.

• Mechanical bias preferred.
