Central Employment are working with a growing B2B Technology client, as they look to appoint a Bid Manager (SaaS) to support the New Business and Customer Success teams on all procurement activities.  

We are seeking an experienced and driven Bid Manager (SaaS), confident in managing procurement processes, from frameworks, writing tenders & bids, and fostering long-term customer success.

This is a pivotal role, working alongside the SLT that combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, key framework, leading bid submissions, and ensuring successful on-boarding and retention of key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of tender and bid writing for public & private sector procurement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to craft compelling, complaint, and competitive proposals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and procurement bodies.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and ensure alignment with business objectives and client expectations.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for market expansion, for, and sales enablement.
  • Monitor and improve customer success initiatives and new customer renewal
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to the sales and customer success teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Circa 3-5+ yrs experience in writing bids/tenders
  • Proven track record in the technology or software sector, with deep knowledge of industry trends.
  • Posses excellent commercial awareness
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical, data and commercial teams
  • Demonstrated success in customer relationship management and developing long-term client strategies.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using CRM tools
