Job Description
Are you a hands-on Electrical Engineer with a passion for quality, commissioning, and solving real-world challenges on-site? We’re looking for a proactive and technically skilled Electrical Quality Engineer to join a dynamic team working across high-profile UK projects.
Duties:
As an Electrical Quality Engineer, you’ll be the technical authority on-site—bridging the gap between factory production and field installation. Your role will involve:
- Installation Oversight & Verification
- Commissioning & Testing
- Contractor & Customer Coordination
- Factory & Supplier Quality Assurance
- Documentation & Compliance
- Advanced Troubleshooting & RCA
- West Bromwich & Customer Sites (UK-wide travel required)
The ideal candidate:
Degree / HND / HNC in Electrical Engineering18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent
Strong knowledge of LV/MV systems, switchgear, and protection devices
Proficiency with electrical drawings and test tools
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
Ability to work independently and travel across the UK
