Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Cramlington
Pay rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Full-time
• Monday–Thursday: 7:30am–4:00pm
• Friday: 7:30am–2:00pm

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for General Production Operatives to join a well-established manufacturer within the timber industry. This position is based at a busy production site in Cramlington, supporting the processing and preparation of high-quality timber products for construction and joinery applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating saws and timber processing machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assisting in the production, assembly, and finishing of timber products.
  • Performing basic maintenance and safety checks on tools and equipment.
  • Organizing materials and keeping the workspace clean and orderly.
  • Working collaboratively to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Following all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Full training on jig setting provided as part of role development.

About You

• Reliable, hard-working, and willing to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
  • A positive team player with good communication skills.
  • Health and safety awareness essential.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or timber work is desirable but not essential – full training provided.
