Electronics Assembly Operative
Location: Blyth/Cramlington Area
Salary: £24,220 per annum (plus shift allowance once rotation begins)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Initially 8:00am – 4:00pm (Mon–Fri), transitioning to rotating shifts (6:00am–2:00pm & 2:00pm–10:00pm) later in the year.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing and forward-thinking manufacturing business in the Blyth/Cramlington area as an Electronics Assembly Operative. This is a permanent role offering long-term stability and the chance to be part of a highly skilled and supportive team.

The Role:
As an Electronics Assembly Operative, you will play a key role in the production of high-quality electronic components and systems. You’ll be working with a variety of tools and equipment, carrying out detailed assembly and soldering tasks to strict technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembly of electronic components, sub-assemblies, and full units
• Precision soldering of components onto PCBs (through-hole and/or surface mount)
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
• Conducting quality checks to ensure finished products meet required standards
• Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets

• A keen eye for detail and a steady hand for fine, repetitive work
• Ability to read and follow technical documents accurately
• Willingness to move to a rotating shift pattern later in the year
