Job Description
We are currently seeking Line Leader to join a food production business based in Harrogate. This is a hands-on role working in chilled and frozen environments, handling both raw and cooked meat.
Mon to Fri 6-2pm and 2-10pm (flexibility to work both is required)
Rate £14.00
The Job:
- Lead, develop and motivate the production operatives in accordance with the business plan.
- To ensure daily plans and targets are achieved (e.g., KPI’s, yield output, attendance) and downtime is minimised.
- Quality checking at all stages of production
- To follow all company procedures & guidelines
- To ensure strict compliance of CCP’s at all times.
- Carry out effective PDPs on all members of your team.
- Undertake any training that may be required or desirable.
- Responsibility for food safety & cleanliness, ensuring that the full compliance with company procedure.
The Requirements:
- Comfortable working in chilled environments.
- Able to work in a fast-moving environment.
- Previous experience as a line leader
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet throughout the shift.
- Good level of attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
