Job Description
We are currently seeking Food Production Operatives to join a food production family run business based in Gilesgate. This is a hands-on role working in chilled and frozen environments, handling both raw and cooked meat.
Pay Rate: £12.21
Pay Rate: £12.21
Mon to Fri 6-3.30pm (flexibility to start earlier on a Monday)
The Job:
- Work across low risk and high risk areas of production.
- Load raw product onto cooking plates in the low risk area.
- Load and unload racks into and from ovens.
- Slice, weigh, pack, and label cooked products in the high risk area.
- Ensure all Critical Control Points (CCPs) are met and maintained.
- Adhere to strict hygiene, food safety, and quality control standards.
The Requirements:
- Comfortable working in chilled environments.
- Previous experience in food production is beneficial but not essential.
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet throughout the shift.
- Good level of attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
