Job Title: Stores Operative

Location: Hartlepool

Shifts: 6am-6pm Monday-Friday

Contract: Temporary (Ongoing)

Pay Rate: £11.50 for first 38 hours, 1.5x after 38 hours.

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Stores Operative to join their team at a pipe coating plant in Hartlepool. This is a temporary ongoing role, working 12-hour day shifts in an indoor facility.

The successful candidate will have previous stores or warehouse experience and be proficient in using SAP systems to manage stock and inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing stock levels and maintaining accurate records using SAP systems.

Receiving, checking, and storing deliveries efficiently.

Issuing materials and equipment to production teams as required.

Carrying out regular stock checks and audits to ensure accuracy.

Keeping the stores area clean, organised, and safe.

Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.

Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth stock operations.

Requirements:

✔ Experience using SAP systems (essential).

✔ Previous experience in a stores or warehouse role.

✔ Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

✔ Good communication and teamwork abilities.
