MIG – South Shields

Salary: £18 - £20 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 4:30pm | Friday, 8:00am - 1:00pm
Location: South Shields

Our client, a well-established and reputable manufacturing company, is currently seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join their team on a full-time, temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder looking for a stable role with sociable working hours.

The Role:

• Welding and fabricating using MIG techniques
• Working with a range of metals to produce high-quality components
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Ensuring all work meets required standards and safety regulations

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in MIG welding within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Ability to work from technical drawings with a strong attention to detail
• Relevant welding qualifications are advantageous but not essential
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
• Any experience in Fabricating & TIG Welding would be an advantage
