Sample Stores Operative

Please note, THIS IS A PART TIME ROLE (Temp-Perm)

Location: Cramlington

Hours of Work: 9:30 – 14:30, Mon-Fri, based on site.
Rate of Pay: £12.88, rising to 14.39 after 12 weeks.

About the Position:
We are looking for a detail-focused and dedicated Sample Stores Operative to become part of our team. This position involves producing materials to fulfil sample requests within the Sample Stores department. Your contributions will help meet market and customer needs for promotional items and sample requests, ensuring samples are appropriately packed for transport.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create samples, sample binders, and other marketing materials as required. Tasks include converting rolls into sheets, cutting samples to the correct size, labelling, and assembling them.
• Prepare sample rolls and process additional sample requests for dispatch in line with daily Salesforce orders.
• Operate various machines and equipment independently to complete assigned tasks.
• Maintain accuracy and neatness in work, even when performing repetitive tasks.
• Work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Show flexibility by handling a variety of tasks within the department as required.
• Strive to meet the expectations of both internal and external customers.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a busy production environment.
• Basic computer proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to adapt to different tasks easily.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work consistently.
