Job Description

Central Employment is currently looking for committed and passionate operatives to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment for one of our clients based in Stanley.  

Role Responsibilities

• Set-up and operation of a diverse range of machinery and equipment
• Cleaning & performing maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Use of hand and power tools as well as application of techniques including gluing, filling, etc.
• Performing daily safety checks and ensuring safe working practices are followed at all times
• Carry out visual quality inspections on items, checking for any issues and faults
• Flexible working between multiple machines, working independently on tasks
• Able to work as part of a team, assisting colleagues and reporting any issues to higher management
• Provide assistance during the company’s stock take and inventory management
• General housekeeping duties, ensure clean and safe workplace at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
• Competent literacy and numeracy skills
• Good organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• A strong work ethic and self-motivated
• Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks

Rate Of Pay

• £11.44ph

Shifts

• Monday – Thursday – 07:45am – 17:00pm with an early finish Friday.
