Job Title: Rough Terrain Forklift Operator
Location: Hartlepool, Concrete Pipe Coating Plant

Pay Rates:

• Day Shift: £12.50 per hour.
• Night Shift: £16.25 per hour (including a 30% shift allowance).
• Overtime (Day Shift): £18.75 per hour (time and a half after 38 hours per week).
• Overtime (Night Shift): £21.13 per hour (time and a half, including the 30% shift allowance, after 38 hours per week).

Shift Pattern:

• Day Shift: 6 AM – 6 PM, Monday to Friday (1 position).
• Night Shift: 6 PM – 6 AM, Monday to Friday (2 positions).
• Overtime is available on weekends.

Job Description:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a concrete pipe coating plant in Hartlepool, for experienced Rough Terrain Forklift Operators to join their team. This role involves operating a rough terrain forklift to safely transport materials across the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a rough terrain forklift to move, load, and unload materials on-site.
• Ensuring the safe transport of materials in an outdoor industrial environment.
• Conducting pre-operational checks to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines and site regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid Rough Terrain Forklift certification.
• Proven experience operating a rough terrain forklift in an industrial setting.
• Willingness to work outdoors in a plant environment.
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test prior to starting.
