Job Title: Warehouse Assistant
Location: Billingham, TS23
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Working Hours: We ask that anyone applying is flexible on working hours as you could be asked to work any 5 days out of 7 on either a 6am-2pm a 2pm-10pm or a 9am -5pm shift (other shifts or 12 hour shifts may be required as per business demand - rotas are given every Thursday)

Our client is dedicated to producing high-quality dental products and ensuring timely delivery to their customers. They are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join their team.
Job Summary: The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for handling goods in and goods out processes, ensuring accurate and efficient order preparation, and maintaining the overall organization of the warehouse. This role is crucial to the smooth operation of the warehouse and supports the company’s commitment to delivering excellence to its customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Goods In: Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verify quantities and quality against purchase orders, and accurately log the details into the inventory system.
- Goods Out: Prepare and package orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy in the items picked and packed, and handle the documentation required for shipping.
- Order Preparation: Accurately pick and pack products according to customer orders, ensuring all orders are complete and correctly labeled.
- Inventory Management: Assist with stock control, conducting regular inventory checks, and helping to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, ensuring all items are stored properly and are easily accessible.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment, specifically with goods in and goods out processes.
- Experience with order preparation and inventory management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory logging and order processing.
