7.5T Driver 

Location: Washington

Are you an experienced and dependable 7.5T Driver seeking a hands-on role? We have an exciting opportunity for you to work through us for our Client as a 7.5T Driver, responsible for delivering car parts to Nissan. In addition to driving the truck, you will actively contribute to the loading and unloading process, ensuring efficient and punctual delivery of car parts. These clients are suppliers of  the likes of Nissan, Jaguar, and Land rover, with facilities across Sunderland, Washington and Newcastle upon Tyne.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 7.5T truck to transport car parts to Nissan.
• Assist with loading and unloading, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
• Adhere to all road traffic regulations and company policies for safe and legal transportation.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures from recipients.
• Provide exceptional customer service by representing Central Employment and our client professionally and courteously.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Valid clean driving license.
• Valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• Valid digital tachograph card.

Shift Pattern:

This is a 2-shift pattern working both day shifts and late shifts:

£13.96 per hour 

Day shift:

Mon - Thurs: 06:30 - 14:40

Fri: 06:30 - 14:30

Late shift:

Mon - Thurs: 16:05 - 00:15

Fri: 14:55 - 22:55
