We are currently recruiting for machine operators for an international pharmaceutical organisation in North Gosforth. Excellent growing company long term opportunities temp to perm.

Following Standard Operation Procedures (SOP’s) and been a conscientious hardworking individual aware of Health and Safety in the work place is essential.
A sterile room operator is a role with exciting opportunity, starting on a day shift only then progressing to 2 and 3 shifts.

Rate of Pay: £14.04 per hour
Working: rotating shifts 6am - 2pm and 2pm -10pm
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3

Duties

• To monitor man and machine effective workmanship and co-ordinate with other departments on production targets.
• To maintain systems and documents for CGMP compliance.
• The optimization and operation targets, to meet productivity targets with compliance to schedule, documentation, safety and GMP requirements.
• Working as a flexible steriles team completing any given task to maximise performance, for example (but not inclusive), clean downs, changeovers and set up.
• To ensure that all plant and equipment is safe to operate in accordance with the requirements of Health and Safety legislation.
• Carry out training as required for the up skilling of the production team.
• To provide guidance / support in fault finding /problem solving diagnosis to rectify machine breakdowns and performance problems.
• To respond to breakdown situations in a timely manner in to minimise production downtime and maximise production and efficiency.
• Working as part of the flexible team completing any given task to maximise performance, for example general repairs and assisting with wider manufacturing engineering activities across the plant (but not inclusive).
• Provide engineering support to operations Management to ensure the speed and quality of problem solving within the engineering department.
