We are currently recruiting a Hygiene Operative to join our team at a busy meat production facility based in Burradon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for stable back shift work, with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract.
The Role:
As a Hygiene Operative, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety throughout the production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and sanitising production areas and equipment
- Ensuring all hygiene standards are met in line with food safety regulations
- Safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Following strict health and safety procedures
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet cleaning schedules
Working Hours:
- Back shift starting between 2:00pm and 4:00pm
- 7-hour shifts
- Regular ongoing work
- Opportunity to move from temporary to permanent employment
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous cleaning or hygiene experience (ideally within food production, but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail
- Good understanding of health & safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in a chilled environment
