A Senior Applications Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Irish based pharmaceutical client. They are looking for this candidate to be based remotely in Europe. Must have experience in single use and filters experience

THE ROLE:

• Participate in industry standards groups, committees, and organizations to ensure processes and products are cGMP compliant, follow best practices, and are compatible with the regulatory environment required by our pharmaceutical customer base.
• Establish strategic relationships directly with our customers as a trusted and reliable technical partner.
• Act as the first line of defense for customer-related questions of single-use systems and filtration inquiries as an established subject matter expert (SME) in multiple areas.
• Work directly with Business Development and other relevant teams to develop and maintain positive and collaborative technical relationships with clients in EMEA and surrounding areas.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure best practices are communicated throughout the organization.
• Assist with Applications Engineering core functions including supporting client inquiries:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, or equivalent technical discipline from a four-year college or university. Master’s degree (M.S.) preferred.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience as a technical specialist in single-use systems and technologies geared toward the pharmaceutical industry. Filtration experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to work independently, with strong self-motivation and time management skills.
• Travel to client facilities and Meissner entities in Europe  may account for 25% of time or more.
