Job Title: Injection Moulding Technician /Setter
Location: Melksham
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00 (30-minute lunch break)
• Friday: 08:00 – 13:00

A well-established manufacturing company based in Melksham is seeking a reliable and motivated Injection Moulding Technician / Setter to join its production team. This role is key to supporting injection moulding operations and ensuring high-quality products are manufactured efficiently and on time.

The Role

Working closely with the Production Manager, you will carry out technical duties relating to the setting, sampling, and running of injection moulding tools. You will also support the maintenance of production equipment and contribute to continuous improvement within the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting, sampling, and running injection moulding tools
• Supporting maintenance of production machinery and equipment
• Production fault finding and troubleshooting
• Assisting with plastics processing, production planning, and quality procedures
• Supporting new tooling trials and sampling
• Carrying out planned maintenance activities
• Ensuring good housekeeping and husbandry in production areas
• Contributing to the development of the company’s technical capabilities

About You

• Experience in plastics injection moulding or a technical manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Hands-on and flexible approach to work
• Willingness to learn and undertake training
• Strong team player with good communication skills
