My client is looking to recruit a Test Technician for their electronics business located in Melksham. They design and develop electronic products for a variety of industries and are looking to recruit this role to provide support for the Production team ensuring that products are manufactured right first-time.

To work as a member of the Final Test team providing support to Production. To carry out inspection and testing activities on manufactured products under the direction of the Senior Final Test Engineer.

Responsibilities
• Carrying out pre-test inspection of manufactured products.
• Conducting final testing of all manufactured product as part of the build process.
• Testing purchased products and parts before supply or unit build as applicable.
• Running diagnostic software for testing systems, monitoring and accurately recording the results.
• Installing Operating Systems and Application software onto systems to meet specified requirements.
• Ensuring that records of testing are retained and reports provided as applicable.
• Carrying out other testing related activities as directed by the Senior Final Test Engineer.


Knowledge / Experience Required
• Demonstrable working experience in a similar role.
• Recognised qualification in a technical or ICT discipline.

Working hours:
37.5-hour week Monday – Friday 07:00 – 15:30 (including 30 mins unpaid break), Friday 07:00 – 12:30
