Role: Senior Site Manager
Location: Galway City

Salary: €70,000 – €80,000 DOE

Our client is a main contractor recruiting a Senior Site Manager to lead a large commercial refurbishment in Galway City. This is a senior site role taking the project from strip-out through to handover.

Responsibilities

• Take overall charge of the site, leading the site team, foremen and subcontractors
• Deliver the refurbishment to programme, budget and quality
• Manage strip-out, alteration and fit-out works within an existing building
• Manage temporary works and deal with unforeseen conditions as the building is opened up
• Coordinate M&E services with the building and finishing trades
• Manage site logistics, deliveries and access in a city location
• Take responsibility for health and safety on site, including RAMS, permits, inductions and audits
• Manage quality and BCAR documentation, inspections and site records
• Chair site meetings and report progress to senior management
• Liaise with the client, design team and local authority
• Drive completion, commissioning, snagging and handover

Requirements

• Proven Senior Site Manager experience with a main contractor
• Experience on large commercial refurbishment or fit-out projects
• Track record managing works in existing buildings
• Strong working knowledge of BCAR and QEHS requirements
• Relevant third-level qualification an advantage
• Valid Safe Pass and relevant site certifications
• Full clean driving licence
