Role: Finishing Foreman
Location: South Dublin

Salary: €65,000 – €75,000 DOE

Our client is an Irish building and civil engineering main contractor delivering residential, student accommodation and commercial projects across Dublin. They are recruiting a Finishing Foreman for a student accommodation development in South Dublin, running the internals and finishes through to handover.

Responsibilities

• Run the internals and finishes on site day to day, directing finishing trades and subcontractors
• Coordinate drylining, ceilings, joinery, flooring, tiling and decoration floor by floor
• Plan labour, materials and access to keep the finishing programme on track
• Work with M&E trades through second fix and room fit-out
• Hold a consistent standard across repeat room fit-outs
• Check workmanship and quality of finish as works progress
• Manage snagging and de-snagging through to handover
• Run toolbox talks and enforce health and safety on site daily
• Keep daily site records and report progress to the Site Manager

Requirements

• Proven Finishing Foreman experience with a main contractor
• Internals and fit-out experience on student accommodation, apartment, hotel or multi-unit residential projects
• Strong knowledge of finishing trades and the standard expected at handover
• Able to work from drawings and specifications
• Working knowledge of BCAR and QEHS requirements
• Valid Safe Pass and relevant site certifications
