Senior Health & Safety Advisors – Tier 1 Construction
(2 Positions)

Location: Cork – Site-based   |   Salary: €70,000–€85,000 per annum

We are recruiting two experienced Health & Safety Advisors for a leading Irish building contractor with substantial ongoing construction activity in Cork. These are site-focused roles within an established regional safety team, suited to professionals with a strong background in building projects rather than civil engineering alone.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the contractor’s EHS management system on active building projects.
• Undertake inspections, audits, safety briefings and site compliance reviews.
• Review subcontractor RAMS and support project teams on practical risk management.
• Assist with investigations, corrective actions, EHS reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Work closely with the Regional EHS Manager, site management and subcontractors.
• Encourage consistently high standards of safety leadership and workforce engagement.

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant accredited third-level Health & Safety qualification.
• Ideally 8–10 years’ construction H&S experience, with strong building-construction exposure.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical or other substantial building projects is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Irish construction safety legislation and EHS systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Applicants should be Cork-based or able to work on site in Cork.

Salary & Opportunity

Indicative basic salary of €70,000–€85,000, depending on experience and responsibilities. Package details to be confirmed.
