Health & Safety Advisor – Civil Engineering

Location: Dublin / Leinster   |   Salary: €50,000–€65,000 per annum

An established Irish civil engineering contractor is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to support an active portfolio of infrastructure and civil engineering projects across Dublin and Leinster. This is an excellent opportunity for an H&S professional with 2–4 years’ construction experience to develop their career with a well-regarded contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project managers and site teams in delivering safe civil engineering operations.
• Carry out site inspections, audits, safety observations and follow-up actions.
• Review risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work.
• Assist with incident investigations, toolbox talks, inductions and safety reporting.
• Maintain H&S documentation and promote positive safety practices across project teams.

Candidate Requirements

• A recognised qualification in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Approximately 2–4 years’ experience in construction health and safety.
• Civil engineering, utilities, infrastructure or groundwork experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of Irish construction H&S legislation and site procedures.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to travel between project locations.

Salary & Opportunity

Competitive basic salary of €50,000–€65,000 depending on experience, with the full package discussed at interview.
