Quantity Surveyor – Plastering Contractor (Residential)

Location: Navan, Co. Meath  |  Salary: €55,000–€65,000  |  Start: Immediate

BSS is recruiting a  Quantity Surveyor for an established, busy specialist plastering contractor based in Navan, Co. Meath. The company works extensively on residential developments and offers the opportunity to join a strong pipeline of ongoing projects.

This position may particularly appeal to a Quantity Surveyor based in Meath or the surrounding counties who would prefer a Navan office base rather than a daily commute into Dublin. Site visits will be required as part of the role.

The Role

• Manage commercial and quantity surveying duties across residential plastering packages.
• Prepare valuations, measure completed works and assess variations.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and commercial performance.
• Assist with subcontractor and supplier procurement, accounts and cost control.
• Liaise with site management, clients and the commercial team to keep projects progressing.
• Prepare supporting documentation for interim and final accounts.

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.
• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor or specialist subcontractor.
• Residential construction experience preferred; plastering, drylining or finishing-package experience would be advantageous.
• Confident with measurement, valuations, variations and commercial reporting.
• Organised, commercially aware and comfortable working across multiple live projects.
• Experience 2 plus years 
• Full driving licence and ability to travel to project sites.

Package & Application

Salary €55,000–€65,000, depending on experience. Immediate start available. This is an opportunity to join a busy specialist contractor with a substantial residential workload and a convenient Navan base.
