Role: Site Engineer

Location: Co. Louth

Our client is an Irish heavy civils contractor with over 40 years delivering road, rail and bridge infrastructure. They are recruiting a Site Engineer for a major national road upgrade in Louth, working hands-on with the crews and subcontractors to run the works on the ground. They are open on experience level, so the role suits an engineer looking for more responsibility as well as an experienced engineer who likes to stay close to the work. It comes with a company vehicle and a strong benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Run works on site day to day, working directly with crews and subcontractors
• Plan and programme works and keep them on track
• Order and schedule materials
• Raise and manage RFIs
• Keep site records, as built information and progress reports
• Support quality, environmental and health and safety compliance

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Civil engineering site experience, with experience level open
• Hands-on approach, comfortable running crews on the ground
• Irish or British civils experience
• Full clean driving licence
• Valid Safe Pass and relevant site certifications
