Our client is an Irish heavy civils contractor with over 40 years delivering road, rail and bridge infrastructure. They are recruiting a Site Agent to lead a multi-year programme of major transport infrastructure works across Dublin, taking charge of a team of engineers and foremen across several live sites. It suits an experienced Site Agent with strong commercial and design and build experience who wants long-term work with an established contractor. A strong benefits package comes with the role.

Responsibilities

• Take overall charge of the works, leading a team of engineers and foremen
• Plan, programme and resource works across multiple sites
• Manage the commercial side alongside the QS, including cost, valuations and variations
• Manage design and build interfaces with the designer
• Act as the main point of contact for the client on site
• Manage subcontractor procurement and performance
• Set and enforce safety, quality and environmental standards

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 10+ years' experience on civil engineering projects
• Commercial experience on civils projects
• Design and build experience preferred
• Strong experience managing teams of engineers and foremen
• Irish or British civils experience
• A stable work history, with real time spent on each project
• Full clean driving licence
