Role: Site Engineer

Our client is an established Irish main contractor delivering projects across education, healthcare, residential, commercial and industrial sectors. They are recruiting a Site Engineer for a residential development in Swords comprising 195 apartments across three blocks, built in reinforced concrete frame.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for setting out and survey control across the three blocks
• Set out foundations, drainage, RC frame and levels as works progress
• Work from drawings and specifications to ensure the build matches the design
• Check dimensions and levels ahead of and following each stage of works
• Keep accurate site records, as built information and progress reports
• Liaise with the Site Manager and subcontractors on sequencing and site queries
• Support quality control, BCAR compliance and health and safety

Requirements

• Proven Site Engineer experience with a main contractor
• RC frame or apartment development experience
• Strong setting out skills, including total station, GPS and level
• Able to read and work from construction drawings and specifications
• Good working knowledge of BCAR requirements
• Valid Safe Pass and relevant site certifications
